Looking for a CleanGuru alternative?

BidLoom does one job: pricing commercial cleaning contracts and sending a branded proposal. It starts free with 3 bids, then $19 a month. CleanGuru is a broader cleaning business suite, with plans from $79 a month. Here is a fair look at both.

Questions about switching

Is BidLoom a good CleanGuru alternative?

It can be if bidding commercial cleaning contracts is what you need. BidLoom does bids and proposals only: facility setup, area measurements, tasks with ISSA 612-based production rates, state-specific labor estimates, and a branded PDF proposal. CleanGuru is a broader suite that also covers invoicing, scheduling and timekeeping, and residential, carpet and window work. If you want all of that in one subscription, CleanGuru may fit better.

How does the price compare?

BidLoom has a free plan with 3 bids and paid plans at Starter $19, Professional $39 and Business $59 per month. CleanGuru's pricing page listed Basic $79, Guru $129 and Guru Plus $159 per month when we checked on October 11, 2026, and those plans also include invoicing, scheduling and timekeeping. Check their site for current prices.

Does BidLoom use ISSA production rates?

Yes. Tasks from the built-in library start from a default rate based on ISSA 612, and you can change the rate on any task in a bid. CleanGuru says its cleaning times come from a proprietary set of production rates built from its own research and experience.

Does BidLoom calculate labor burden by state?

Yes. Your burdened hourly rate adds FICA, FUTA, SUTA and workers’ comp (adjusted by your EMR) to the wage, plus health insurance and paid time off if you include them. SUTA and workers’ comp defaults are filled in for your state, and you can change any of them in Labor Rates.

Does BidLoom do scheduling, invoicing or inspections?

No. BidLoom is for winning the contract: bids and proposals. You keep using whatever you already run your crews with. If you want scheduling, invoicing, timekeeping and inspections from the same vendor as your bids, CleanGuru offers them.

Is there a BidLoom mobile app?

There is no native app. BidLoom is a web app that works in a phone or tablet browser, so you can enter measurements during a walkthrough. CleanGuru offers iOS and Android apps.

How many users can I have?

BidLoom includes 1 user on Free and Starter, 3 on Professional, 10 on Business. CleanGuru's plans include 5 users on Basic, 10 users on Guru, 15 users on Guru Plus, with additional cleaners at $5 a month. If your team is larger than 10 people who need to log in, CleanGuru may fit better.
