Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions on BidLoom, operated by Balan Bogdan Valentin (ΑΦΜ: 194465389).

Free Tier

The free tier requires no payment and therefore no refund applies. You can use the free tier indefinitely within its usage limits.

Paid Subscriptions

Monthly Plans

Monthly subscriptions are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You are not charged for the next billing period
  • No partial refund is issued for unused time within the current period

Annual Plans

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the full year at a discounted rate. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the annual period
  • No partial refund is issued for the remaining months

14-Day Cooling-Off Period (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a digital service purchase within 14 days of your subscription start date, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU.

To request a withdrawal within this period, contact us at billing@bidloom.com with your account email and we will issue a full refund within 14 business days.

Note: By actively using the Service during the cooling-off period (e.g., creating bids, generating proposals), you acknowledge that you have requested the Service to begin immediately and that the right of withdrawal may be limited in proportion to the service already provided.

Refund Requests Outside the Cooling-Off Period

We consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Billing errors or duplicate charges
  • Service unavailability exceeding 72 consecutive hours
  • Technical issues that prevented use of core features for an extended period

To request a refund, email billing@bidloom.com with your account email, the reason for the request, and any relevant details.

How Refunds Are Processed

  • Refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method
  • Processing typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • Refunds appear on your statement as a credit from Stripe

Plan Downgrades

You may downgrade to a lower plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the price difference during the current period.

Account Deletion

Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately. The same refund terms above apply. If you are within the 14-day EU cooling-off period, contact us before deleting your account to request a refund.
