Auctions Policy

• Eligibility:

To participate in our art auctions, individuals are required to create an account on our platform. This ensures a seamless and secure experience for both buyers and sellers. We extend eligibility to all individuals aged 18 and above.

We believe that everyone, regardless of background, can contribute to and benefit from the rich tapestry of artistic expression.

• Artwork Submission

Submitted artwork must be original and owned by the participant- 

Artists submitting their work affirm that the artworks are original creations and are legally owned by them. We encourage authenticity, and any form of plagiarism or unauthorized use of existing artworks is strictly prohibited.

Artwork details, images, and descriptions must be accurately provided.

To facilitate a transparent and informative auction process, participants are required to provide comprehensive details about their artworks. This includes accurate descriptions, high-quality images, and any relevant information that enhances the understanding and appreciation of the art piec.

•  Bidding Process

Bidders must register to participate in auctions-   Bidders are required to complete the registration process to participate in our art auctions. Participants must provide accurate information during the registration to maintain the integrity of the bidding process.

Bids are binding; retracting bids is not allowed- Once a bid is placed, it is considered binding. Participants should carefully consider their bids before submission, as retracting bids after submission is not allowed

The highest bid at auction close secures the artwork- At the close of the auction, the highest bid stands as the winning bid for the artwork. The participant with the highest bid secures the right to acquire the artwork.

•  Payment:

Winning bidders must complete payment promptly- Winning bidders are expected to complete the payment promptly after the auction concludes. This ensures a swift and efficient process for both the buyer and the seller, facilitating the smooth transfer of ownership.

Accepted payment methods and deadlines will be specified- Details regarding accepted payment methods (e.g., credit cards, wire transfers) will be clearly specified. Participants are urged to adhere to the stipulated payment deadlines.

• Seller Fees

Sellers participating in the auction may be subject to a commission fee, which contributes to the operational costs and services provided by the platform. The details of the commission fee will be communicated transparently, allowing sellers to make informed decisions regarding their participation and potential costs involved.

• Prohibited Content

We strictly prohibit the submission of artwork that depicts hate speech, violence, or engages in any illegal activities. Our platform upholds values of inclusivity, safety, and legality. Artwork submissions violating these guidelines will not be accepted, maintaining a positive and lawful auction environment.

• Privacy and Security

We prioritize the confidentiality and security of participant information, adhering to strict privacy laws. All personal details provided during registration and auction participation will be handled with the utmost care and in accordance with legal privacy standards. Our commitment is to ensure a secure and trustworthy platform for all participants.

• Shipping and Handling

Sellers bear the responsibility of shipping the artwork, and buyers are required to cover associated shipping costs. Transparent communication on shipping instructions and costs will be provided, ensuring a clear understanding for both sellers and buyers.

• Code of Conduct

We expect all participants to engage in respectful and ethical behavior throughout the auction process. Any violation of these principles may lead to account suspension or termination. Upholding a positive and professional environment is crucial for fostering a fair and enjoyable experience for all users involved.

• Platform Changes:

To enhance the user experience, the platform reserves the right to update rules and features. Any modifications will be communicated transparently, ensuring users are informed about changes that may impact their participation.

• Termination of Auction:

In certain circumstances, the platform retains the right to cancel or terminate auctions. This action may be taken to maintain the integrity of the platform, protect participants, or address unforeseen challenges. Participants will be promptly informed of such decisions, ensuring transparency and fairness in the auction process.

• Proof of Identity: A government-issued ID for participant verification.
• Proof of Ownership: Documentation proving ownership of submitted artwork.
• Bank Details: Ensure secure financial transactions with accurate banking information.
• Address Confirmation: A utility bill or official document verifying the participant's address.
• Tax Identification Number (TIN):

Depending on jurisdiction, participants may need to provide their TIN.

These documents help ensure a transparent and secure auction environment for all participants.

• Email Validation:

To ensure a secure and authentic auction experience, we require participants to validate their email addresses. An email confirmation link will be sent upon registration. Click the link to verify your email and start bidding.

• Phone Number Validation:

For added security, we request participants to validate their phone numbers. A verification code will be sent via SMS. Enter the code to authenticate your phone number and enhance the bidding process.
